About this event:

Created by Live Living Network

Learn how cryptologists have used their skills to solve crimes and how law enforcement officers use surveillance to stop crimes before they happen. Participants will learn about Elizebeth Smith Friedman and her work with the US Coast Guard capturing bootleggers, see artifacts related to code-breaking and surveillance in the Museum’s collection, and have the opportunity to ask questions of officers who have worked in the field. This workshop is 45 minutes in length.
