About this event:

Created by Live Living Network

You Gotta Move: The Folk Blues Revival of the 1960s. This program combines a presentation with a musical performance to tell the first-hand story of the 1960s blues revival. During this time traditional songs were re-discovered and musicians from every background were learning and playing them. This program will be hosted by Bob Case. Touring the South in the 1960s, Bob befriended Folk Revivalists to hear and learn directly from County Blues players Bukka White, Furry Lewis, Sleepy John Estes and Mississippi Fred McDowell. In the early 1970s Bob started a national career first in Boston and later in New York City.
